Shanghai
From visiting and performing in Shanghai several times, Passerby felt that the city allowed you to look most far into the future and at the same time to the past, therefore it plays a significant role in defining the present.
Passerby felt that Shanghai changes all the time but still manages to keep its heritage and foundation unchanged. This combination gives is what makes the city flexible and alive. Shanghai is also the feeling of home: a home that is loyally waiting for you, not changing.
The rhythm of life in Shanghai — its high energy — is felt deeply in the track that combines modern elements and ancient elements. Its history and its present is shown in both the music and the music video, like a portal for the rest of the world to enter.
The gates of Shanghai saved many Jewish people during WWII, so Passerby is dedicating this song to Shanghai as the son of a mother that is a Holocaust survivor.
PASSERBY:

Passerby: “Traveling and performing in Shanghai, I felt the city allows you to look most far into the future and at the same time as far as possible into the past, therefor it has such meaning in defining the present.
This unique time perception Shanghai offers, inspires the will and power to change, and “If you can feel it” is about that.
On a personal note, Shanghai saved many lives people during WW II, and this song is dedicated with love for Shanghai, as the son of a mother that is a holocaust survivor”.
