Qinghai

As Qinghai province is a melting pot for many recognized ethnic groups, Gilad Passerby felt all of them are united by the water of the amazing Qinghai lake.

Inspired by the romantic Hua’er local singing, that captures love words improvisation sung in nature, Gilad Passerby created the song in a similar way, also combined with the unique sound of the musical instrument – Kouxuan.

Touched by the monumental high altitude landscapes of Qinghai lake, together with the heart touching sounds he found in Qinghai Province, Passerby felt the water in Qinghai are not only the source of life, but also the source of love and rebirth, Sharing the same waves, Therefore decided to name the song “Sail”.

PASSERBY:
Waves of water, waves of love, everything is waves.
In Qinghai high altitudes I found out that water are not only the source of life, But also the source of love.

The Qinghai Hua’er improvised love words and singing, Inspired me to create the song for Qinghai in the same way, allowing me to just sing with no filter the love that is in my heart.

Unlike my recent posts ,This post is also improvised, not organized, just like the movement of Qinghai lake water, The water of life and love we sail upon.
