Ningxia
Although Ningxia is considered the smallest province in China, still Gilad Passerby found it holds many cultural treasures.
The wonderful modesty of Ningxia and its people, is reflected in the modest song, inspired by the desert landscape that lays in the province.
Musically, using the Wawu flute, and voices of Hui voices singing, were combined into this love song as they symbolise longing and hold the history of Ningxia within them.

Ningxia province proves to me that When people say size doesn’t matter, they are actually right, As Although it’s the smallest province, I found there big musical treasures and endless inspiration.
The longing sounds of Hui musical instruments and singing, inspired me to wonder about ancient love stories hidden in the desert sands.
It made me think about the smallest grain of sands, that might hide the biggest secretes,For those that will look at them carefully.
