Passerby combines the singing voices of Master Yu Wanqiu and his choral group singing the Opera of Sister Liu, with his own melancholic, reflective meditation on what the word ‘home’ means to him.
Passerby shares his idea of home through his lyrics: home is not just a place, it is more importantly a feeling.

Every time I come to China, my friends there welcome me with warmth and the feeling that I am home.
When I am working on Project 34, I find that I feel at home wherever I go in China.
I have learnt a lot from the amazing musicians of GuangXi, such as the Opera of Sister Liu (which Master Yu and his group sing in this music video) and other traditional folk songs. These songs make me feel like I am returning to a place I have never been in.
We live inside our hearts, and part of my heart is always in China. So I continue my path to 34 regions, to 34 collaboration songs.
For one China, one home.
